Jeep Opts For Black Ops Vehicle

Chrysler Group LLC publicly confirmed Tuesday plans to sell a limited-edition 2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition. The vehicle will roll into showrooms next month coinciding with the release of the much anticipated video game: Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The Wrangler is the "hero" vehicle in the game due to be released Nov. 9.
The two-door and four-door Black Ops versions will be based on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model. The exterior will be black and feature Call of Duty: Black Ops graphics on the roof and front quarter panels. The vehicles will also come with 32-inch off-road tires. The wheels will come in a high-gloss mineral gray.
The manufacturers suggested retail price is $30,625 for the two-door model and $33,500 for the four-door.
Chrysler told dealers last month it was considering offering a Black Ops vehicle but kept the announcement under wraps until now.

if there were going to come out with something like this, it should have been a lifted version. with a more badass look....and they shoulda went with black wheels.
All around, it doesnt look any different then it would as a non black ops jeep

Paul,
That looks almost identical to me neighbours wrangler. His wheels are slightly different but the same colour.

May 21, 2003 - In an unusual movie tie-in, Chrysler announced they're rolling out a limited edition 2003 Jeep(R) Wrangler Rubicon Tomb Raider model. The new limited edition (only 1,000 were made) Jeep Wrangler will make its debut in the market in July in conjunction with Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. This same model will be seen in the film with Angelina Jolie, as Lara Croft, at the wheel. In a press release announcing the special edition Jeep Wrangler, Jeff Bell, Vice President, Jeep, Chrysler Group, said, "The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is the most capable Jeep ever built, so the heroic and extreme environment in which Lara Croft uses her custom Wrangler Rubicon in Tomb Raider is accurate. This is more than just a product placement. We have created a 360-degree integrated marketing campaign around the movie and the debut of the Wrangler Rubicon Tomb Raider model."
According to Chrysler the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Tomb Raider model will feature 16-inch Alcoa forged aluminum wheels, Tomb Raider badging, a light bar, riveted fender flares, tubular grille guard, diamond plate bumper guard, rock rails, fog lamp and tail lamp guards, black tubular grille guard, fog lamps with brush guards, riveted fender flares in graphite, aluminum diamond plate bumper guard in black, black rock rails and tail lamp guards.

I know. It's awesome looking. It only turns up every now and again, so it's not outside his house every day. But I'm bloody determined to get a picture of it.

Thats cool i guess, it seems to be just some stickers and tires though isn't it haha? Kinda lame to be considered a "limited edition" model if you ask me, but hey I'm sure it'll sell, good business move i guess

Don't laugh, Paul, but I've always thought of doing a Halo: ODST Version of a Jeep.
